Welcome to our North East Tennessee Multiple Myeloma Support Group. All those who are affected directly by Multiple Myeloma or who have a friend or family member who is, are invited to join us. This is a rare cancer and it can be very helpful to join with others to: gain support, remove isolation, share stories, discuss care, and find treatments. We can be assured that when armed with support, proper knowledge, good medical assistance, and the advantages of new findings, you have an excellent chance of a good quality of life for many years.
To build a social and emotional support network for patients with Multiple Myeloma, as well as their friends and family, and to share medical information.
Our meetings are the first Saturday of each month at the Health Resources Center at the Mall in Johnson City, from 11 AM until 1 PM. Sometimes we meet at the Center's Annex Classroom. To get information and register call 423-915-5200. Refreshments are usually provided.
